Reflection:
- Photograph #2 is a closeup of my friend Samantha's hair falling out of her bun against her neck. This photo was taken at the Providence Flea Market that we went to visit together.
- I photographed this image from a bit above her shoulder along her jawline.
-I chose this point of view to capture the light reflecting off of her hair and turning it into a lighter color. It also gave a viewer a bit of wonder on what exactly was being photographed.
-I tried to use the rule of thirds in this picture to capture the strands of hair coming from different corners of the photo and curving at different angles.
- I allowed the light captured in the picture to come from both behind me and to my right. I wanted to have the light bounce of her hair and turn it lighter to stand out against the darker shade of her skin, even when changed to greyscale.
- I believe that the first photo in the gallery most successfully uses pattern to lead the viewers eye.
- The photo that shows the most dynamic composition of texture is the third picture in the gallery. The grains of the wood making up the dock bring out the texture of worn wood and lines.
