JUXTAPOSE
1. The subject matter in my photos is either lines or new vs. old.
2. For the subject of lines, the photos are horizontal. For the old vs. new diptych, the photos are vertical.
3. The images relate in their lines and angles, matching up in all three diptychs. The shape of the record and cd match up as well, drawing your eye around and through the two separate photographs.
4. My images relate conceptually. The ones with lines explore composition. The angles in them are lined up to specifically create a certain effect and have contrast between organic curves and manmade lines. The diptych of the record and cd follows the concept of new vs old, with the record representing the older phase of life and the cd representing the new era.
